Who Are We?

Pastors Bill and Anne Moore were sent by the Lord to conduct a series of meeting that lasted 3 months in Brownsville, Texas.  After seeking the Lord through prayer and deliberation, Livingway Family Church was founded on May 4, 1997.  The first service was held in the Sheraton Hotel in Brownsville, Texas.  There were approximately 40 people in attendance.  The excitement and expectancy was so great that the church grew at a phenomenal rate and had to be relocated to 5 different rooms while in the Sheraton Hotel.  After outgrowing the Sheraton Hotel, we moved to the Brownsville Country Club in order to have their worship services.  In 1999, we purchased a 9.1 acre track of land at 350 West 802, Brownsville, TX.  From that day, the Lord has continually blessed us with His presence and guidance to seek the lost and be a shelter to the hurting and to those with a need.  Currently, Drs. Bill and Anne Moore, are the proud pastors of one of the largest congregations in the Lower Valley with more than 2000 members.

Our Mission

The mission of the Livingway Family Church is centered on evangelism, missions and education.  Our mission is multi-faceted, but all inclusive of the whole man, family and community.  We are focused on reaching lost individuals for Christ, training believers, mobilizing the army of God, building strong families, touching a generation through Christian Education, evangelism through mission here and abroad, and building a house of worship where God’s presence is welcomed.  We reach out to individuals and families through our Pastors, congregation, ministers, volunteers, television ministry, street ministry, classes, fellowships, school, and other avenues.
